Last friday, i caught 2 movies within 6 hours. Confessions of a shopaholic and DMC. Woah, both are awesome. funny and hilarious, wait, are they the same? ahh, heck. but ya. SHOPAHOLIC was funny to the max. my left, dana was laughing like shit, my right, mel was holding my hand and laughing at the same time. then i turned and i saw joy, amongst the darkness, i could see the teeth, so i supposed she was laughing too. haha.i heard from theo and iris, the book is great, wanna borrow ittt!
Had dinner with my parents and sis at POMO (the new paradiz) at some japanese spot. awesome place, less crowd, good company, comfy and cheap food equates to happiness.
My parents drove off cos they know they won't be interested in DMC, so my sister and i caught it. hahahahahahahahhahahhahaaahahhahh to the max. seriously, its a senseless show. not much of a meaning. don't make sense but kenichi matsumaya is like funny. really thought, ok, think that he is an awesome actor. He did L too, and it was fantastic. Its a really great watch-laugh-until-there's-no-tomorrow show. so my sister and i had some arms and thigh slapping session because we were laughing so hard.
then saturday kevin and i picnic-ed at east coast, we spent like almost 2 hours buying all the stuffs. not bad, it was pretty budget! :) time flies and we are together for almost 20 months. that's hella long man.
Okays, guess i have to go now. got my research paper to submit tomorrow, plus, i have project presentation tmr!

off day!
so as the title speaks, today is my off day! yay. As in no school and no work. what a relief!
work isn't too bad but i'm overestimating myself. reaching home at 1145 to 12 midnight and having a 9am class at clementi the next day is literally leading me to slow death. so today i slept until 1130am. you have no idea how shiok that felt. even though the construction near my place was blasting at volume 40. but i still slept through them.
anyway, fiona's damn right. candy empire boss damn sucks. seriously. he stalks employee. he's damn sarcastic. i'm not even surprise if he finds my blog and decides to sack me. im merely stating well-known facts. i love the people working for him though. so it kinda suck when he appears at night during the closing time.
since i got the job. this has become my latest motto: never fail to fall alsleep in any bus ride longer than 15 mins. seriously, damn lack of sleep.
anyways, today was great. had tutition in the early afternoon. sigh, my student failed her science by 9 marks. i remembered i failed my science once in primary school too. but then my other subjects were pretty good. but my student ahhh.. the rest also not like very fantastic. how worrying man. PSLE.
after that, got to meet iris, abs and theo. wanted to watch DMC (Detriot Metal City) so badly but its all selling fast. left single seats. we were there at like 4 plus. the 5 movie was selling fast. so was the 7 plus. what the hell right. didn't know so many fans lar. anyway, we went to game after that. played L4D. 4 of us. practically screaming throughout the whole game. abs the pro. theo and i second attempt and that funny iris. her virgin attempt. its a zombie game btws, i think we disturbed the other gamers around.
then it was dinner with GKs. finally got to catch up with them since maria's departure. i love reminiscing. we were talking about the sec 1 and 2 days. like who we sat with. and we had a crush on. super funny. well. after 8 years have passed. then huisi was telling us about her internship. she's gonna be a pharmist! haha. which also meant our melb trip to visit maria cannot be fulfilled. sighhhhh!!! ahhh. why why why.
yeah. ohmygawd. getting like emotional or something. btws, sometimes, i just feel like i let my parents down or something. i mean look at my sec sch friends. they are all in like NUS, SMU. and then me. i think im super not academically inclined. super not. but i'm really happy with where i am now. at least im doing something i'm interested in and having a great company.
alright. have to go. got tuition tmr again and sunday. i'm so hardworking in terms of earning cash.

decided to follow syidah's title. cos i totally agreed. haha.
anyway, the first few days of this week was crap. serious. had like 2 to 3 hours every night. hail to late night cramming.
then the week with iris, the bus svc,'s birthday, shuf's bday and meeting up with the girls for awhile.
right after the last paper, i was massively searching for jobs. as i was browsing through jobdbs, i spotted candy empire, and immediately, send my resume over and they rang me up the very next day! yoohoo! and yes, i got the job. just had my first day. stocking up chocolates candies and snacks without getting to eat them was pretty torturous.

everyone please give me a round of applause for taking a step to realizing my goal of going UB for graduation!
kevin just boarded singaporeairlines to inDIAAAAA.... for his armor crap. for 2 damn weeks. gonna work them through though.
just hope he dun bring back the accent. and the ahem sccchmellll. hahah racism in the air. and to think im working under a indian boss right now. hahaha. the boss of candy empire is quite nice actually. haha. just that the boss's father can be quite intimidating, but i thought he was funny.
oh yesh. anyone who is reading this, do help me out.
im actually helping my sister and her colleague to scout for hunks. as in really muscular and not the scrawny kind.
it will be for a SET event (Sony Entertainment Televsion). Cos they are opening their channel in mioTV. so ya, they do get paid. interested applicants, call or text me for details.

expansion of the communication course
University opens porn course
A university in Taiwan has opened a course to teach students how to appreciate and analyse porn movies.
The Mass Communication Department of Providence University opened the course this semester, reports United Daily News.
To pass the course, students must give a 15 minute presentation in which they analyse an audience's psychological reaction to a porn clip from an academic perspective.
One worried student, who did not wish to be named, commented: "If I get a very good score in this course, I don't know how I'll explain it to my parents."
When registering for the voluntary course, students signed a paper agreeing that if the scenes were too explicit, they could choose to leave the classroom
The teacher, assistant professor Miss Chen Mingmei, said no students had ever left her class but some would briefly cover their eyes during the stronger scenes.
More than 50 students registered for the course, and most of them confessed that they had watched porn videos before.
Curiosity was given as the main reason for taking the course and most admitted their parents did not know what they were studying.
Another student admitted: "I am really worried my parents will see the score report when it is mailed home. I won?t know what to say if I get a high score
"However if I fail the course, I can speak to my parents and suggest that maybe I should watch more porn."

hot and burn
sigh. i have a love-hate feeling for aussie.
firstly, i don't like the fact they behave superior to chinese.
but then again. i love the place and the animals.
the first time i went aussie was like 15 years ago. and that was when i first carried a koala bear. super cuteeeeeee! cute cute cute!
really. but i was terrified at that moment cos i was probably just a bit bigger than the bear. subsequently, the rest of the times i've been to any other parts of aussie. i will never miss visiting the koalas in the zoo.
and here you go, the wild fire in aussie killed more than a hundred. and probably loads of koalas. sigh, especially when they can't move fast, they become one of the biggest victims!

police investigated and believed that arson was behind more than 400 firess! seriously? australians, burning your own koalas? guess not every australian is like steve irwin, with a huge heart for the animals.
